Data processing and quality control officer
Datamar Consultores Associados is seeking fluent English speaker, with good Portuguese, to support their data processing work. The successful candidate will work closely alongside Datamar’s data processing team, providing training and every day support to improve the quality of data processed. The role also includes quality control analysis of Datamar’s foreign trade database and involvement in other projects such as making contributions to Datamar’s weekly foreign trade newsletter.
Candidates should have the ability to work proactively alone and as part of a team to improve the quality of processing and the storage of data. Strong problem solving, organizational, communication and IT skills (Microsoft Access and Excel) are desirable.
Container terminals project leader
Datamar Consultores Associados is seeking an English speaker, with strong Portuguese, to lead their container terminals database project. The successful candidate will set up and populate a database with significant amount of public information, before proceeding to obtaining more complex data by working together with Datamar clients and market tools. The role also includes making contributions to Datamar’s weekly foreign trade newsletter, specifically in the ports and terminals section.
Candidates should have the ability to work proactively alone and work together with colleagues to push forward the project and meet deadlines. Strong problem solving, organizational, communication and IT skills (Microsoft Access and Excel) are desirable. Experience working with ports and terminals is a definite advantage.
